ISO PURCHASES AIR

Insurance Services Office (ISO, Jersey City, NJ) acquired Boston-based Applied Insurance Research (AIR), a provider of risk-assessment and management technology. As a wholly owned subsidiary of ISO, AR will continue to operate as a stand-alone entity.

SEAGULL/HOSTBRIDGE

SEAGULL (Atlanta) entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Hostbridge Technology (Stillwater, OK). Under the agreement SEAGULL will resell Hostbridge in conjunction with Transidiom, SEAGULL's software suite for transforming mainframe and iSeries business functions into callable objects with XML, Java, COM, SOAP, or MQSeries interfaces that are integrated with other applications.

PERFICIENT ACQUIRES

Perficient (Austin, TX), an e-business solutions provider, will acquire both Vertecon (St. Louis) and Javelin (Syosset, NY). The acquisitions are intended to help Perficient expand its geographic presence and grow its customer base.

TRIZETTO/CHANNELPOINT

Newport Beach, CA-based TriZetto Group Inc. has signed an agreement to acquire certain personnel, intellectual property and assets from the healthcare division of ChannelPoint, Inc. (Westminster, CO).

DATAFLUX ALLIANCES

DataFlux Corp. (Cary, NC) has signed the Center for Data Insight (Flagstaff, AZ) and Synapse Technology (Charlotte) to its DataFlux Alliance Program (DAP) as software partners.
