BLUEBOOK GETS CAPITAL
Bluebook International (Lake Forest, CA), a subsidiary of The Bluebook International Holding Co., announced that Cotelligent, Inc. (Irvine, CA), a provider of mobile business solutions and Web services, has invested $5.1 million to provide Bluebook with capital, along with Cotelligent'stechnological expertise to expand its operations and deliver solutions to insurers.
EAUTOCLAIMS DEAL
EAutoclaims (Oldsmar, FL) and Cybersettle, Inc. (Mount Kisko, NY), an online claims settlement company, announced a strategic alliance that will allow clients to opt for a seamless claims management solution combining eAutoclaims' online claims management capability for automobile physical damage claims with Cybersettle's online blind-bid system for resolving bodily injury claims.
ACORD & eEG7 INITIATIVE
An initiative aimed at enabling a global basis for interoperable insurance messages has been announced by (Pearl River, NY-based ACORD and eEG7, the European standards body for the insurance industry. Both organizations have agreed to harmonize the results of their respective standards initiatives.
