Audatex Introduces Online Collision Repair Data Delivery Service

AudaUpdate eliminates the need to update vehicle part prices and labor databases through traditional, DVD-based manual processes, according to the vendor.

Audatex North America, Inc., a provider of software and services for the automotive claims processing industry, has introduced AudaUpdate, an automated online data delivery service intended to save time for insurers and collision repair shops and increase accuracy.

Users of the vendor's Audatex Estimating solution can use AudaUpdate to receive the latest data on vehicle part prices and labor times up to two weeks faster than possible with traditional DVD methods, Audatex claims. With the most current data, users can improve the accuracy of their initial estimates and reduce the frequency of supplements written, says the vendor.

The application can be scheduled to automatically update users' systems with the latest data, eliminating the manual process of loading DVDs to update all the computers or servers on which they store vehicle part price and labor data, according to Audatex.
