6. Amica: Private Homepage (P&C)

Finally, life and P&C firms were evaluated for the layout, navigation, features account details and customer service information on the private policyholder pages behind the login. Amica took first place in P&C in part because it "offers a good deal of information about the policy in an attractive, outlined box" right in the center of the page," according to Corporate Insight. It's the only company evaluated that "makes the site navigable exclusively through an expandable left menu, making it easy for users to find what they are looking for," the analyst firm adds.
