Hartford-based health insurer Aetna has consolidated the social media aspects of its Aetna Student Health initiative, which targets college students, on a microsite.

The hub includes links to: the Aetna Student Health Facebook page, a Twitter feed with health and wellness updates, the “Healthy You!” series of YouTube videos and a BlackBerry-only mobile application for calorie tracking.

“We have designed one website where students can socially interact while remaining educated about their health,” Chekesha Kidd, head of Aetna Student Health, says in a statement. ”We look forward to creating more ways to help our members stay connected and healthy.”
