Boston-based Celent has promoted Craig Weber to CEO, replacing Mike Harding.
Harding had been named CEO of the financial services analyst firm when it was acquired by New York-based consultancy giantOliver Wyman. He will return to his duties as a partner for the parent company while retaining the Celent chairmanship.
Weber is elevated from his post as SVP and director of the insurance practice. He has been with Celent since 2002.

"Craig has been instrumental in building Celent's market-leading insurance practice, and will bring a wealth of financial services experience to his new role," Harding says in a statement. "I'm confident that his vision for the business and passion for delivering client value will help Celent continue to evolve and grow."
