Humana — whose CIO Brian LeClaire was one of Insurance & Technology's Elite 8 this year — has embraced gamification in a big way to drive better health habits among its policyholders. It partnered with Ubisoft last year on an Xbox Kinect game, Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012. But the company is releasing the next installment, Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2013, on Nintendo's recently launched -- and sold out -- Wii U console.
