ACORD (Pearl River, NY) has re-launched its Benchmark Calculator, a strategic tool produced in collaboration with insurance consulting services outfit Marsh, Berry and Co. (Concord, OH) that provides a snapshot of an agency's cost and productivity status and compares results to national standards. The Benchmark Calculator helps diagnose problem areas and develop strategies to strengthen agency performance, says ACORD.

Boston-based John Hancock's Group Insurance Division has announced a partnership with OnlineBenefits (Uniondale, NY) to offer group life brokers the opportunity to provide their clients with the Web-based employee benefits communication and administrative solutions provider's communication application, Benergy.

The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA, Falls Church, VA) and Standard & Poors (New York) have launched a Web site (www.naifaadvisor.com) to give NAIFA's 80,000 members access to S&P's research materials in equities and insurance rankings.
