Guidewire Introduces App for Agent Collaboration

Utica First is the launch client for the app that provides marketers and managers with metrics, guidance and support tools.

Guidewire has announced the availability of a new app, Guidewire Live MyAgents, which better facilitates collaboration between insurers and agents. It is the seventh Guidewire Live app.

The web-based app is designed to improve insight into agency performance and provide insurance field marketers and territory managers with the metrics, guidance and support tools they need to collaborate with producer channels and build market share. MyAgents utilizes internal and third-party data sources to turn subjective information into objective, actionable data. With real-time information and alerts, insurers and agents will be better prepared for visits and know they are working with the same data pool.

Regional insurer Utica First Insurance Company recently chose to implement the app.

“At Utica First, we strive to make it easy for our agents to engage with us and bring value to these long-standing relationships,” says David Jarvis, VP at Utica First, in a statement. “MyAgents will help our marketing representatives fulfill that mission by making it easier to view a complete picture of agency performance, and stay current through real-time updates and alerts.”

re: Guidewire Introduces App for Agent Collaboration
This is part of the ongoing theme over the past few years of insurers seeking to position themselves as "easiest to work with" in the eyes of agents. It's interesting that where the focus used to be mainly on industry-specific capabilities such as upload/download, now it's expanding into mobile capabilities and social media.
