SEEBEYOND/GHI

Group Health Inc. (New York) a not-for-profit health insurer, awarded a contract to SeeBeyond Technology Corp. (Redwood Shores, CA), a provider of e-business and application integration solutions.

CIGNA CHOOSES FAST

Philadelphia-based CIGNA Corp. signed a contract with Fast Search & Transfer (FAST), a developer of search and real-time alerting technologies. The carrier selected FAST's Data Search as its enterprise data search solution.

ATB FIGHTS FRAUD

ACL Services (Vancouver, BC) confirmed an agreement with Alberta, BC-based ATB Financial. ACL will provide ATB with an integrated solution—including software, customization and implementation services—that will assist in detecting money laundering, terrorist property and other fraudulent activities.

SAIF TAPS TOWER

State Accident Insurance Fund (SAIF, Salem, OR), a workers' compensation insurance fund, has awarded a contract to Tower Technologies (Boston), a provider of infrastructure software for high-volume document and content processing. Tower will fully automate SAIF's claims processing and customer service operations.

GENELCO ASP CONTRACT

The Genelco Software Solutions division of Liberty Insurance Services Corp. (St. Louis) announced that American International Investors Trust, through its distributor of insurance products, Miami-based Diversified Investment Administrators, has signed agreements to utilize the Genelco ASP business model for rapid entry of variable investment products into Latin American markets.

CLAIMS DEAL

Lumbermens Mutual Casualty Co., a subsidiary of Kemper Auto and Home Insurance Co. (Long Grove, IL), has signed a two-year contract with Oldsmar, FL-based eAutoClaims to offer online claims management to all of Lumbermens 16 offices in the continental United States.

LA SUISSE/SPOTFIRE PACT

Swiss insurer La Suisse Insurance Co. (Lausanne) has awarded a contract to Somerville, MA-based Spotfire for use of its DecisionSite software to analyze marketing and sales data in order to react quickly to potential problems and sales opportunities. With DecisionSite, La Suisse will be able to visually analyze sales indicators and see how products are selling.

ACIC, RIS DEAL

Results International Systems (RIS, Dublin, OH) has delivered a Web-enabled graphical user interface to American Commerce Ins. Co. (ACIC, Columbus, OH) to provide ACIC agents with Internet access to the carrier's AS/400-based processing systems.

CUNA ZIXCORP PACT

CUNA Mutual Group (Madison, WI) has selected ZixCorp's (Dallas) secure e-messaging service enterprise-wide to enable the carrier to send and secure e-mails to its credit union clients, customers and business partners.
