NEW CONTRACTS

MUTUAL FIRE/ADESSO

Mutual Fire Insurance Association of New England (Peabody, Mass.) has awarded a contract to distributed application platform provider Adesso Systems (Waltham, Mass.). Adesso will supply Mutual Fire's field inspectors with a mobile solution that uses the Adesso technology platform.

FLORIDA FARM CONTRACT

Florida Farm Bureau General Insurance Co. (Gainesville, Fla.) has purchased ImageRight's (Conyers, Ga.) document management and criteria-based workflow solution to support its claims operations.

CONSECO CONVERSION

Universal Conversion Technologies (UCT, Dallas) has been awarded a contract by The Conseco Insurance Companies. UCT will become the solution provider and integration project manager for Conseco's initiative to convert its existing health business.

EQUITABLE CONTRACT

Equitable Life of Canada (Waterloo, Ontario) will license Penad's (Kitchener, Ontario) defined contribution software platform for Equitable Life's group pension business in Canada. Penad's record-keeping system will be integrated with Equitable Life's related information systems.

GE FINANCIAL/E-Z DATA

Pasadena, Calif.-based E-Z Data, Inc., a provider of front-office systems for insurance companies, broker-dealers, general agents, agents and investment advisors, has licensed E-Z Data's Enterprise CRM Platform solution to GE Financial, headquartered in Richmond, Va., for GE's Career Sales organization.

ZURICH CONTRACT

GAB Robins, a Parsippany, N.J.-based claims services firm, entered into a strategic alliance with Zurich North America (Schaumburg, Ill.). The vendor will be the nationwide provider of property claims independent adjusting and claims technology services for Zurich.

NFS CONTRACTS

Metavante Corp., the Milwaukee--based financial technology subsidiary of Marshall & Ilsey Corp., has announced a software license agreement with Nationwide Financial Services, Inc. (Columbus, Ohio), for use of its CSF Designer composition software.

PENN NATIONAL DEAL

Lawson Software (St. Paul) has signed a contract with Penn National Insurance (Harrisburg, Pa.) for use of Lawson 8 Series Human Resources. The carrier will replace its legacy payroll application with Lawson Human Resources.

PENN MUTUAL/NAVISYS

Edison, N.J.-based Navisys and The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Co. (Harleysville, Pa.) have announced that Penn Mutual will deploy the enhanced version of NaviSys Front Office illustration software to agents and financial advisors.

SUNGARD/NATIONAL LIFE

SunGard Insurance Systems (Miami) has announced that National Life Insurance Co. (NALIC , Coral Gables, Fla.) has signed a contract for the deployment of VIP, SunGard Insurance Systems' Web-based enterprise illustration system.
