Nominate Insurance & Technology’s Elite 8 2006

Every year Insurance & Technology honors three of the most outstanding senior technology executives in the insurance industry with the Elite 8 Awards. From our perspective as industry observers, we come into contact with some of the insurance industry's technology stars, but we also look to industry analysts, consultants, vendors and our readers at insurance carriers to nominate the cream of the crop of executives they've observed or worked with. In fact, we'll accept a nomination for Elite 8 from any source whatsoever. However advantageous our viewpoint, we can't see the whole industry. We're asking for your help to identify those outstanding executives that we may not yet know about.

Who Are The Elite 8?
The Elite 8 are insurance carrier senior technology executives who come from the life & annuities, P&C and health insurance industries. They are typically enterprise or line-of-business CIOs, but their title is not as important as their impact on the insurance enterprise they serve. The Elite 8 are honored for cumulative achievement or for outstanding recent results demonstrated by the success of the initiatives they have driven to address their company's business challenges. (See the list of past Elite 8 honorees below.) The Elite 8 come from companies of all sizes and are characterized by leadership, vision and a superior understanding of the opportunities today's technology affords the business of insurance.

How Can I Nominate an Executive to the Elite 8 Insurance & Technology accepts written nominations identifying the nominee by name, title and company, and describing the accomplishments of the candidate in 500 words or less. Please send nominations to Anthony O'Donnell, Senior Editor, Insurance & Technology, at [email protected], 503.465.0359.

Deadline for nominations is July 10.
