Thomas O’Neill Named COO of Lincoln Financial Distributors

Thomas O'Neill, former AEGON Financial Services Group exec, named COO of Lincoln Financial Distributors.

Lincoln Financial Distributors, the intermediary distribution company of Lincoln Financial Group (Philadelphia), named Thomas P. O'Neill Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. According to Lincoln Financial Distributors, O'Neill will lead the development and implementation of initiatives that improve the client experience and maximize business growth. He will work with partners and clients across the firm's Insurance Solutions, Retirement Solutions, Lincoln Financial Network and Delaware Investments divisions. He will also serve as a member of the Lincoln Financial Distributors Executive Committee. O'Neill reports to Will Fuller, president and CEO of Lincoln Financial Distributors.

"Tom is a proven leader with a successful 25-year track record in setting strategic direction, enhancing client relationships and building businesses in our key markets," Fuller said in a statement. "The challenging economic environment presents an unprecedented opportunity to meet the evolving needs of clients for retirement solutions, protection and asset management."

Most recently, O'Neill served as president of AEGON Financial Services Group, Inc. , Financial Institution Division, where he was chiefly responsible for leveraging AEGON's based investment expertise with large financial institutions, developing and strengthening distribution relationships with key institutional partners.
