Nationwide (Columbus, Ohio) has selected San Mateo, Calif.-based Guidewire's ClaimCenter system for its P&C business.

Nationwide will implement ClaimCenter, beginning with its commercial and auto lines, with Ernst & Young as the system integration lead.

"Guidewire's modern technology architecture, customer focus and implementation track record were all important to us," Michael Keller, EVP and CIO for Nationwide, says in a statement. "ClaimCenter is easy to configure, which will give us the flexibility to make system changes in-house so that we can respond rapidly as our business evolves."
