Atlanta-based Compliance 360 has launched what it describes as new, integrated application for managing internal audits

According to the vendor, Compliance 360 Internal Audit provides a unified set of governance risk and compliance (GRC) applications to fulfill the needs of a company's vice president of internal audit, general counsel, chief compliance officer, chief risk officer, chief financial officer and their staffs.

A vendor press release characterizes the Internal Audit application as built from the ground up with the same market-leading design concepts and features that support the rest of the applications in Compliance 360's GRC Suite. Users can easily move from Internal Audit to other applications including Risk Management and Compliance Management, with a consistent user experience, the vendor claims.

Key capabilities of Compliance 360 Internal Audit include: a centralized repository of all audit plans, workpapers, audit workprograms, findings, reports and follow-ups; comprehensive audit plan management throughout the life-cycle of each audit, including resource assignments and workplan creation; automatic generation of audit workpapers directly from work plans; complete meeting management with tracking of meeting agendas, attendance and minutes; audit task management with fully automated and customizable workflow; central management and extensive reporting of audit findings; documentation of recommendations, management responses and oversight of remediation projects; and sophisticated capabilities for creating, managing and analyzing customizable surveys for any size organization, Compliance 360 claims.
