insurancejournal.com: I like sites that push information to you. Insurancejournal provides news stories around insurance-related events and e-mails headlines and capsule summaries. You get a useful overview by scanning the briefs and can click for the complete article if a given summary is of interest.

ultimateinsurancelinks.com: This site is a great place to search for insurance-related topics; comprehensive and current set of links to insurance related sites.

techrepublic.com: Another push site. Techrepublic provides objective IT-related information and advice at various levels. Depending on your specific interests, it offers a variety of push subscriptions, from technical to managerial. My three subscriptions focus on management-related IT items.

npr.org: You know, National Public Radio. News commentary, objective political information, and other NPR-type stuff. Also some good music streams available, but only for home-streaming sure can eat into corporate bandwidth!
