Coverys Chooses Accenture Software for Core Systems

The insurer plans to use Accenture Duck Creek Suite to improve product development and customer service.

Medical professional liability insurer Coverys has chosen Accenture’s Duck Creek Suite as its core systems platform

Accenture’s P&C software combines policy, billing and claims software to form a single solution for underwriting, quoting, rating, billing, policy lifecycle support, and claims administration. Coverys will use it to provide customized processing for consumers, agents, and brokers.

Accenture Duck Creek Policy allows Coverys to easily alter existing products and develop new ones, the companies said. The Duck Creek Billing and Claims provides centralized data management and maintains workflow effectiveness without becoming overly complex.

“A pre-integrated suite with high quality components is essential,” said Eric Crockett, vice president of information technology for Coverys. “The Accenture Duck Creek Suite gives us the right business capabilities and a highly flexible platform that will enable us to grow.”
