re: Allianz Names IT Exec Responsible for User Experience
Today is World Backup Day (http://www.wallstreetandtech.c..., the holiday is meant to bring attention to the lack of backup and more importantly RECOVERY plans. Part of that is prioritizing which elements of the business need to be recovered in an acceptable time. This promotion seems to suggest customer experience is among the top priority - I'm glad to see such emphasis on the user! It also shows how much banks fear customers leaving for a better competitor service.

re: Allianz Names IT Exec Responsible for User Experience
We often hear about IT departments working to improve the user experience through redesigning software. With this promotion of its IT executive, Allianz is demonstrating how end-user computing is important along with the help center and disaster recovery.
