Erie Insurance Integrates iPipeline's iGO e-App with Illustration Solution

Erie's independent agents will be able to transfer data from illustrations directly into the vendor's iGO e-App intelligent fillable form to power what the vendor calls an integrated user experience.

Erie Family Life (a subsidiary of Erie Insurance Group, Erie, Pa.) has selected iPipeline's (Exton, Pa.) iGO e-App for integration with the carrier's implemented iPipeline illustration solution.

Erie's independent agents will be able to transfer data from illustrations directly into the vendor's iGO e-App intelligent fillable form to power what the vendor calls an integrated user experience.

Under the agreement with iPipeline, Erie's independent agents will be able to transfer data from illustrations directly into the vendor's iGO e-App intelligent fillable form to power what the vendor calls an integrated user experience. To gain speed to market, the illustration and electronic application will be approved by the consumer in one electronic signature ceremony and immediately submitted to Erie Family Life for underwriting and policy issuance, according to an iPipeline statement.

"Our pursuit of excellence in customer service has enabled Erie Insurance to be one of the 40 carriers named J.D. Powers and Associates 2011 Customer Service Champion," comments Michael Plazony, senior VP, Erie Family Life. "Inclusion in this list hinges not only on excelling within the insurance industry but on delivering service excellence to our customers via the buying experience. The decision to add iGO e-App reinforces our commitment to continuously improve how agents and consumers interact. Process, product and presentation are three key 'touch points' that play heavily in maintaining our high customer satisfaction ratings. iPipeline's integrated platform will play a major role in helping our agents work with customers to maintain this standard."
