YORGENSEN NAMED
The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. (Hartford) named Kevin Yorgensen vice president of the technology team in the investment products division (IPD) of its Hartford Life Insurance Co. subsidiary.
HANCOCK MOVES
With the retirement of John Hancock Financial Services' (Boston) current CEO David F. D'Alessandro later this year, James M. Benson will take on the role of president and CEO of John Hancock Life Insurance Co. and John D. DesPrez III will become president and CEO of John Hancock Financial Services. Both had been senior EVPs for the company.
OUNJIAN JOINS VITRIA
John Ounjian, former chief information officer of Minnesota Blue Cross and Blue Shield (Minneapolis), joined business process integration solution provider Vitria (Sunnyvale, Calif.) as executive vice president of Vitria's healthcare and insurance business unit.
KERFORD AT VECTOR
Dave Kerford was named president of Vector Technologies Inc. (Indianapolis) and its subsidiary Vector Insurance Services. Kerford formerly headed business development at McCamish Systems (Atlanta).

Inviva (New York) appointed Laurence P. Greenberg as vice chairman. Greenberg will oversee the strategic aspects of finance, marketing and operations for the holding company and two of its subsidiaries, The American Life Insurance Co. of New York and Jefferson National Insurance.
