MULLIGAN NEW AXA EVP

Deanna Mulligan has been named executive vice president of the marketing and product development group of AXA Financial (New York) and its principal insurance subsidiary, The Equitable Life Assurance Society of the US.

NEW SENGEN CEO

Mt. Laurel, NJ-based technology provider Sengen has named Dennis P. Flanagan its new chief executive officer. Mel Baiada, founder of Sengen, was named chairman of the company.

NEW SHERWOOD CEO

Sherwood International Plc (London) has named Mike Shinya chief executive officer. Shinya joined Sherwood from software firm Viewlocity, a US-headquartered firm, where he was president of operations for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Shinya also has worked for IBM, Oracle and Baan.

SAUDI PROMOTED

Eric Saudi has been promoted to the role of vice president at 21st Century Insurance Co. (Woodland Hills, CA). Saudi, a 23-year veteran of the firm, will assume the role of current customer process leader, including responsibility for 21st Century's policy service call center of 700 employees.

OATES JOINS EREINSURE

Reinsurance e-commerce technology firm eReinsurance appointed Michael J. Oates vice president. Formerly senior manager, data management group, at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Oates will be responsible for product implementation.
