DTCC's Director

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC, New York) has promoted John Ziambras to managing director and general manager of insurance services. Ziambras has held the position of vice president of insurance services since joining DTCC in 2002.

New FFIC CIO

Oliver Bussman has been named Fireman's Fund Insurance Co.'s (FFIC; Novato, Calif.) CIO, replacing Fred Matteson. Previously, Bussman was EVP, group information technology, at FFIC parent company Allianz Group (Munich).

Safeco Hires Jenks

Seattle-based Safeco has appointed William Jenks CIO, replacing Yom Senegor. Jenks was EVP and CIO of worldwide operations at Paris-based Publicis Groupe. Previously Jenks had served as CIO of Space Systems/Loral, Heller Financial and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

The Phoenix SVP

The former SVP of individual life at Principal Financial Group (Des Moines), Edward W. Cassidy, has joined The Phoenix Companies as SVP of life distribution.

Keane's Financial VP

Keane (Boston) appointed Imran Sayeed VP of financial services. Sayeed came to Keane as a result of the vendor's acquisition of netNumina, a technology strategy and architecture firm Sayeed founded.
