Fireman’s Fund Appoints Former Traveler’s CMO

Robyn Hahn brings twenty years of insurance industry experience to Fireman’s Fund.

Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company has announced the appointment of Robyn Hahn to the role of CMO. Hahn will assume responsibility for the development and execution of the insurer’s marketing and communications strategy.

Hahn has twenty years of experience in the insurance industry, the majority of which she spent in various marketing and sales leadership positions. She most recently served as the VP and CMO for the business insurance sector of The Travelers Companies, Inc.. Hahn also spent fifteen years at Nationwide in a variety of roles, including VP of marketing and sales, and oversaw customer experience.

“Robyn has a proven track record of building a successful marketing organization that enables profitable growth,” says Andrew Torrance, president and CEO at Fireman’s Fund, in a statement. “Her experience and understanding of both personal and commercial insurance will help strengthen our reputation in the segments where we look to be the best expert provider in the business.”

Of course, the day before I write about insurers tapping banks for marketing talent, we see Fireman's Fund go for an insurance vet. That's a perfectly legitimate strategy, of course; Travelers is well-regarded and I am sure Hahn will bring some great ideas to FF.
