GEICO Goes Live With Guidewire

GEICO has deployed Guidewire Software's ClaimCenter.

Washington, DC-based GEICO (Government Employees Insurance Company) has deployed Guidewire ClaimCenter, a web-based claims solution, to help provide a smoother and shorter loss reporting process for policyholders, according to a press release issued by San Mateo, Calif.-based Guidewire Software.

ClaimCenter features flexible business rules to enable insurers to optimize and monitor the claims process. The solution is designed to integrate service/repair scheduling into the loss reporting process and increase claim handling efficiency.

According to the release, Guidewire will extend ClaimCenter's capabilities for GEICO by adding loss reporting enhancements and integrating the system with emergency roadside assistance capabilities.
