Good2Go Launches Safety Discounts in Washington, D.C.
Good2Go has announced the launch of its Cell Phone Safety Discounts in Washington, D.C. The insurer’s telematics-based strategy took off earlier this year.

Customers receive 5% discounts on property damage, bodily injury and collision coverage per vehicle when they install a device that prohibits data-driven phone functions such as email, text messaging and Internet browsing. The devices only block these capabilities when the car is in motion. Drivers have access to 911 emergency calls at all times.
To receive the discount, customers must install the devices in their vehicles and provide a copy of the receipt as proof of purchase.
