Guardian Releases Mobile App for Dental and Vision Plan Members to Locate Providers

Guardian Life has launched the Guardian Anytime Mobile app for iPhone, which enables dental and vision insurance plan members to locate providers. Guardian, one of the nation's largest mutual life insurers and a provider of employee benefits, says the app reflects the company's commitment to meeting the needs of a "dynamic, on-the-go workforce."

The Guardian Anytime Mobile app is free and can be downloaded from www.GuardianAnytime.com for both Android and Apple users. Members using the app can locate in-network dentists from one of the nation's largest dental networks and vision providers from both VSP and Davis Vision, according to a Guardian statement. Users can search by name and location for contact information, interactive maps and driving from anywhere in the country, the insurer says.

"The introduction of Guardian Anytime Mobile ensures that we are reaching and delivering value to our customers in the way in which they want to interact," comments Elena Wu, VP, Group Marketing and Learning Services. "With more than 100 million consumers using smartphones, Guardian Anytime Mobile is a natural extension to our existing service channels and we have plans to continue to enhance the application based on the needs of our customers."
