Intact Financial Selects Guidewire ClaimCenter

The Canadian P&C insurer will use the software in both personal and commercial lines.

Toronto-based P&C insurer Intact Financial Corporation has selected Guidewire (San Mateo, Calif.) ClaimCenter as its new claims management system. Intact Financial Corporation will implement ClaimCenter to help manage all of its commercial and personal lines’ claims.

Intact said it picked ClaimCenter after evaluating its success at AXA Canada, a company Intact acquired last year.

“As we were looking for a scalable platform that could be deployed across all our business units and lines of insurance, we came to the conclusion that Guidewire ClaimCenter was the best solution. It will allow us to reinforce our customer-driven focus and to better deliver on our promise to offer an outstanding claims experience to our customers. Furthermore, Guidewire’s solution will provide us the ability to better manage the complexity and the scale associated with an expanding claims organization that helps more than half a million customers get back on track, annually,” says Mathieu Lamy, SVP of claims for Intact Financial Corporation, in a statement.
