Chicago-based multiline P&C insurer Kemper Corporation has named Denise Lynch P&C group executive. She had been the leader of the Kemper Preferred business.
Lynch will officially take the reigns on December 1, reporting to chairman, president and CEO of Kemper Donald Southwell. She is now responsible for Kemper Specialty, Kemper Direct and Kemper Services Group, in addition Kemper Preferred.
Before joining Kemper, Lynch served as VP of sales and marketing excellence for the property and casualty insurance operations of The Hartford. She replaces James Schulte, who has left the company to "spend more time with his family and to evaluate other opportunities," according to a company statement
"Jim has been an outstanding member of our leadership team, and I'd like to thank him for his many contributions over the past 11 years. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors," Southwell added in a statement. "In addition, I'd like to congratulate Denise on this promotion, and have every confidence in her leadership for our property and casualty businesses going forward."
