KnightBrook, Beazley Sign Unirisx

The provider of software-as-a-service policy, claims and billing platforms adds one American and one British client.

KnightBrook Insurance Company, a Pennsylvania-based underwriter of niche insurance; and Beazley, a London-based specialty insurance provider, have contracted Radnor, Pa.-based Unirisx's software-as-a-service platform for policy, claims and billing.

The Unirisx Integrated Solution will be deployed first with KnightBrook's livery line of business, while Beazley has opted for Unirisx as its preferred partner to launch a new range of products, including marine and PI.

"Given our diverse book of business, the ability to configure and adapt the solution to our specific needs was crucial to our selection," Eric Jarvis, CEO of KnightBrook, says in a statement. "In Unirisx, we also found a partner that we believe understands our business and will deliver on their promises."

"It was critically important that our chosen partner fit into our overall operational strategy to meet our client's desire for top quality policy administration, satisfy all regulatory requirements, and offer a flexible, quick and cost-effective product rollout capability that allowed us to respond quickly to market opportunities," adds David Marock, COO for Beazley.
