Insurance IT Salary Survey: Job Outlook Improving
Even as the economy has stumbled, insurers' confidence in growth opportunities has led to shifting staffing needs and slightly higher salaries for insurance IT staff as carriers resume large-scale projects aimed at increasing efficiency and improving the customer experience, according to the 2012 InformationWeek U.S. IT Salary Survey. 10. Looking for a new job?
A slight 6% of IT staff and 9% of IT managers are actively seeking a job at a different employer, and nearly two-thirds are not contemplating a job change. About one-fourth of managers (26%) and nearly a third of staffers (31%) are keeping their eyes open.
