Main Street America Promotes VP, CIO
The Main Street America Group has announced the promotion of Amy Frederick to VP and CIO. She will become a member of its senior management team, and report to chairman and CEO Tom Van Berkel.
In her new role, Frederick will focus on ensuring that the right technology is in place to help customers write more business across personal lines, commercial lines, and bonds platforms.
“As the competitive landscape increases, providing effective technology solutions to our independent agent-customers in order to improve their ease of doing business with us is more critical than ever,” said Van Berkel in a statement.
Frederick joined the super-regional P&C insurer in April 2014 as its director of application production in IT. She previously served as CIO of US operations at Aspen Insurance. Frederick has extensive experience with leading effective IT operations at P&C carriers. She has also served as the leader of finance IT at XL America and a senior consultant for Krismatic Software.
