Salt Lake City, Utah-based physicians insurance provider MGIS Companies has named William Lawrence director of underwriting.
This is Lawrence's second stint with the company. In between, he served as an independent broker. He has also worked at Unum and is an Army veteran.

MGIS named a new IT chief earlier this year.
