Also available in iPhone, BlackBerry and Android versions, Washington, D.C.-based GEICO's well-regarded GloveBox mobile portal features several enhancements specifically for the iPad edition, released late last year. In addition to access to policy quotes and bill pay functionality, for example, the iPad app takes advantage of the device's larger form factor by using a split-screen display and presenting auto how-to image galleries. Additonal videos and the carrier's social media pages also are easily accessible via the app.
