Mark Mullin Named President of AEGON Americas

Mark Mullin has been named president of AEGON Americas, headquartered in The Hague, The Netherlands.

Formerly AEGON USA executive vice president, Mullin will now be responsible for operations in the United States, Canada and Latin America. Mullin, who joined the firm in 1987, currently heads AEGON's pension operations in the United States, as well as the firm's U.S. annuity and mutual fund businesses.

Current AEGON Americas CEO Pat Baird will continue to maintain direct responsibility for AEGON's life reinsurance business, in addition to his international responsibilities as a member of AEGON N.V.'s Management Board, which include AEGON's business in Asia.
