Metaserver data transformation

NEW HAVEN, CONN.-Insurance industry business process integration (BPI) solutions provider Metaserver has released Metaserver 4.6., designed to make it easier for carriers to transform data from agencies and service providers into formats required by underwriting, policy administration and other insurance systems. Enhancements include greater flexibility for incorporating business rules into the automated processes that orchestrate the interaction of multiple systems. According to the vendor, Metaserver 4.6 has new data transformation capabilities and allows insurers to handle extremely large XML schemas, which is critical because of the industry's reliance on ACORD XML to transmit data in real time among producers, insurers, rating bureaus and service providers.
