Nationwide Financial has selected Intellect Claims, a claims processing solution by Polaris Financial Technology Lt., a technology provider for the financial services industry based in Chennai, India, according to a release.
“Polaris' solution was a good fit due to its flexibility in configuring the claims process to fit out diverse needs and setup role based workstations, which we believe will lead to a superior customer experience,” said Jeff Stein, VP of insurance operations for Nationwide Financial. “We think Intellect will help us comply with new regulatory requirements.”
In addition to meeting regulatory requirements, Nationwide hopes Intellect, which includes a claims workstation, service portal, and an integrated beneficiary management system, will improve the customer experience. Polaris will provide integration services with several legacy administrative platforms to improve the insurer-side end-user experience.
