Nationwide Insurance Signs Jacada
Columbus, Ohio-based Nationwide's P&C division has signed its second material contract with Atlanta, Ga.-based Jacada to extend the use of the vendor's unified customer service desktop to the division's direct sales and service group.
Under the first contract, signed in January 2008, Nationwide selected Jacada to help automate service center processes and unify the desktop within Nationwide's Insurance Service Centers that supported the P&C distribution channel.
According to a press release, the Jacada solution will help the direct sales and service group reduce operational costs and provide better and timelier access to data needed to drive more profitable interactions by further automating and simplifying access to customer, policy and billing information.
