Neighborhood Health Plan of R.I. Implements HealthEdge Benefits Administration, Claims Platform
Providence, R.I.-based Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, a Medicaid health plan, has implemented the HealthRules suite from Burlington, Mass.-based HealthEdge.
HealthRules will help Neighborhood claim and benefit administration by allowing its front-line staff to configure the system to meet changing market conditions. It will help it respond to market and regulatory changes and automate manual processes.
"The speed with which we now can adapt and the additional functionality we now have will be important as we look to serve our current and new populations," said Mark E. Reynolds, CEO for Neighborhood, in a statement. "We are pleased that we not only got a great core administrative system, but also a committed partner to support us."
