HUMANA CHOOSES ZIX

Zix Corp. (Dallas), a provider of e-messaging management and protection services, has been awarded a contract by Louisville-based Humana Inc. for secure e-messaging and content management services.

AAA LICENSES GENELCO

Genelco Software Solutions, a St. Louis-based division of Liberty Insurance Services Corp., licensed Genelco LifeView to AAA Life Insurance Co. (Livonia, MI) to expand its agent services and improve data access.

EXSTREAM/KEYCORP

Exstream Software Inc. (Lexington, KY) announced that KeyCorp (Cleveland), a bank-based financial services company, is using its Dialogue software to developpersonalized trust and wealth management statements.

BCBSA/COGNIZANT DEAL

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp. (Teaneck, NJ) and the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association (BCBSA, Chicago) entered into a multi-year national agreement under which BCBSA will promote Cognizant's services in the areas of custom software development, integration and application outsourcing. BCBSA also announced that it signed a multi-year communications services agreement with Overland Park, KS-based Sprint.

TRANSGUARD/INSURITY

Hartford-based Insurity, a ChoicePoint company, signed a licensing agreement with TransGuard Insurance (Chicago) for its flagship policy administration system, Commercial Intellisys.

BCBSRI OUTSOURCES

Providence-based Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island (BCBSRI) selected Perot Systems (Plano, TX) to manage its technology and business process operations, including deployment of Perot Systems' Diamond Enterprise technology and assumption of responsibility for delivery of the claims, cash disbursements, IT and membership administration business functions.

AUL CHOOSES FORESIGHT

Indianapolis-based American United Life Insurance Company (AUL) has selected Insurance Technologies' (Colorado Springs) ForeSight Enterprise for its annuity operations.

CONNECTIVE CONTRACT

Houston-based Connective Technologies Inc., a provider of e-commerce solutions for insurance, entered into a contract with Hawaii Employers Mutual Insurance Co. (Honolulu) to provide real-time upload from the AMS family of agency management systems.

CIGNA AND FRICTIONLESS

CIGNA Corp. (Philadelphia) selected the Frictionless Sourcing enterprise sourcing platform from Frictionless Commerce (Cambridge, MA) to manage costs across the organization.

ALFA PICKS FIPSCO

Montgomery, AL-based Alfa Life Insurance awarded a contract to Fipsco (Des Plaines, IL), a developer of life insurance marketing software, for use of Fipsco Life Portraits Enterprise Solution.
