Milwaukee-based life insurer Northwestern Mutual has selected the Hearsay Social (San Francisco) platform to help its agents use social media.
Hearsay captures, monitors and archives social communications, helping solve issues of compliance and effectiveness, the companies say in a statement. It also allows Northwestern Mutual to distribute content among its 6,000 agents from a centralized source.
"This new tool will make it even easier for our financial representatives to build relationships with clients through social networks," Neal Linkon, Northwestern Mutual assistant director – internet marketing, says in a statement. "When we build strong relationships, we're able to create more personalized and more powerful financial plans for clients."
