OIT Releases Version 10 of DocFinity Suite

Built around a J2EE server, the latest version of DocFinity includes enterprise-class business process management (BPM) and workflow tools with unprecedented power and speed, as well as products for data capture, email management, and records management, the vendor claims.

Optical Image Technology (OIT) has released version 10 of its DocFinity document management, imaging and business process management software, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies, according to the State College, Pa.-based vendor. The new release has been built around a J2EE server, according to an OIT press release. Centralized administration offers ease of installation and administration; a modern, intuitive GUI interface allows customizable workspaces that maximize productivity, according to the release, which describes the product as scalable, reliable, secure, and easy to maintain.

The DocFinity version 10 suite includes enterprise-class business process management (BPM) and workflow tools with unprecedented power and speed, as well as products for data capture, email management, and records management, according to OIT. The integrated suite is fully underwritten in extensive web services that are included with the core DocFinity product as well as a URL API and "zero programming" tools providing several options for users to integrate DocFinity into their current line-of-business applications, websites, and portals, the vendor claims.

The new release supports Windows, Red Hat Linux, SUSE Linux, and z/Linux operating systems as well as MS SQL; Oracle; DB2 for Linux, Unix and Windows; and DB2 express-C databases, according to OIT.
