Oracle Insurance Releases Oracle Insight 6.0

Redwood Shores, Calif.-based Oracle Insurance has released a new version of its Insurance Insight solution, an industry-specific data warehouse that aggregates and streamlines access to enterprise data, including policy, claims and customer information. It contains a transactional data warehouse model as well as line-specific data mart structures.

The new release, Insurance Insight 6.0, leverages Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition for dashboards and analytics, enabling insurers to conduct policy, claims and customer analysis without the need for customized integrations, according to a press release. Oracle says that the warehouse and pre-built analytics in the latest release provide insurers with the flexibility required to perform cross-functional relationship reporting, such as combined policy and claims data analysis.

"With Oracle Insurance Insight 6.0, insurers will have a powerful tool to help them better understand their business and provide real-time intelligence to support business leadership," Srini Venkatasantham, vice president, product strategy, Oracle Insurance, said in the press release. "This product release also demonstrates progress toward achieving the goal we set when we launched Oracle Insurance, which is to provide the industry with integrated best-in-class insurance solutions."
