Penn National Strategizes for Simpler Billing
Penn National Insurance Company, a provider of P&C mutual insurance, has selected CEDAR Document Technologies’ Agile Communication Platform to manage production and distribution of all billing-related communications with customers.
The software is a communications management and document outsourcing platform that generates personalized electronic and printed methods of communication for print and postal services, presenting on a portal, email, interactive PDF, SMS and mobile applications.
“We are keenly aware of our need to make communications management more agile and business driven,” says Kenneth Shutts, president and CEO of Penn National. “The ability to provide a future-state billing communications experience will ultimately help our company be a better partner to both policyholders and agents.”
VP of CEDAR’S Insurance Practice, Lee Nagel, adds that the platform “taken steps to modernize and streamline the entire experience for customers.”
Penn operates in 12 states though 800 independent agencies with assets exceeding $1.45 billion. The company employs over 800 people.
