Pioneer State Mutual Chooses Guidewire for Billing

Pioneer State Mutual Insurance Company, a multi-line property and casualty carrier serving individuals and businesses in Michigan, has selected Guidewire's BillingCenter solution as its new billing system.

The Flint, Mich.-based carrier will deploy BillingCenter for both direct and agency bill functionality, replacing the existing billing capabilities provided by its policy administration system. Guidewire says the web-based BillingCenter solution features billing lifecycle automation and flexible billing, payment and delinquency plan designs and enables rapid integration with external payment systems such as EFT, EBPP, check writing and payroll deduction.

According to a press release, Pioneer State Mutual will look to the new billing system to expand billing and payment options to meet the unique needs of its various lines of business, enhance customer service while improving he efficiency of internal operations and gain the ability to issue a single bill to multi-policy customers.
