AAA NCNU Selects Exigen for Policy Admin and Billing

The Exigen PolicyCore and BillingCore solutions are aimed at helping AAA Northern California, Nevada and Utah transition from its legacy systems and gain the systems agility needed to support rapid expansion.

AAA Northern California, Nevada and Utah (AAA NCNU, San Francisco) has selected Exigen Insurance Solutions' (San Francisco) underwriting, policy administration and billing solutions for auto, homeowners and all other personal lines of business for its operations spanning 18 states, according to an Exigen press release. The Exigen Suite applications PolicyCore and BillingCore will support rapid expansion and enhance AAA NCNU's insurance product offerings and customer service to millions of members, the Exigen source asserts.

"The Exigen Insurance team has built a flexible, scalable, high-performance system. We expect that this modern platform will allow us to migrate efficiently from our legacy systems and to enable us to be nimble in a dynamic market," said Paul Gaffney, executive vice President, operations, AAA NCNU. "We have chosen a partner whose interests are aligned with ours and we are looking forward to a degree of partnership and collaboration well above typical software supplier relationships."

Among the benefits the Exigen solutions will afford AAA NCNU, according to the vendor source, are An integrated view of customer information and history that improves response time and enhances member relationships; a highly configurable tool to accelerate product development; automated underwriting capabilities that streamline new business and policy servicing processes; business process management of all policy and billing functions that reduces process cycle-times and costs; and business intelligence via the built-in business activity monitoring service which tracks all system activity to provide business performance benchmarking, reporting and activity-based costing.
