GuideOne Licenses New Policy Admin System

GuideOne Insurance, a West Des Moines, Iowa-based insurer of churches, senior living communities and private schools and colleges, has licensed the AQS (Hartland, Wis.) Access policy administration system.

Developed for all property and casualty lines, AQS Access features rate-quoting, underwriting and policy management capabilities as well as self-service options for product configuration, according to an AQS press release. In addition, the system integrates with ISO (Jersey City, N.J.) Rating Service and comes packaged with ISO's loss costs, rules and policy forms information.

GuideOne was already an AQS customer, having run on the vendor's legacy product before the Access deal. "The system has the tools to give us the control we want," GuideOne SVP and CIO Tom Fischer said in the press release. "And, the AQS team understood our business coming in."
