Progressive recently announced its selection of the Bolt Platform from P&C software provider Bolt Solutions. The solution provides an omnichannel customer experience across multiple lines of personal and commercial business to better meet the higher expectations of today’s insurance customers.
The Bolt Platform will improve the overall experience for customers in the Progressive Home Advantage program, specifically those who call the insurer’s direct channel to speak with a customer service representative about homeowners insurance. Progressive believes that the solution will also help its service representatives better serve their customers.
“The Bolt Platform allows us to provide a faster, more efficient experience for our customers looking for homeowners coverage,” said Richard Hutchinson, preferred business leader at Progressive, in an email to I&T. “The speed with which we can complete a transaction is much quicker than our previous system allowed.”
