RMS Unveils Account Fire Model
NEWARK, CALIF. - RISK MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS has launched the RMS Account Fire Model, a probabilistic model to enhance the way account underwriters quantify and manage exposure to fire risk.
Primarily for commercial and specialty insurers and reinsurers, the solution supplies comprehensive data on the account level and assesses risk by simulating the behavior of a fire as it spreads through a building's open doors and firewalls, while taking into account the effects of sprinkler systems and fire department activity.
