Workers’ Comp Database

Wolters Kluwer Financial Services (Minneapolis) expanded its AuthenticWeb for Claims solution to include workers' compensation claims processing.

With more than 25,000 regulations affecting these claims, AuthenticWeb's search tools help insurers save time by quickly scanning its claims-specific regulatory database and finding the information they need to identify compliance requirements related to a specific claim, says the company. Updated monthly, this Web-based tool is designed to help insurers reduce noncompliance risk and lower the average cost per claim, according to Wolters Kluwer.

"AuthenticWeb has a number of features to help insurers integrate compliance into their claims workflow, including information-sharing tools, regulatory monitoring and Web-fillable forms," says Dan Grey, national product specialist for AuthenticWeb. "There are also expert summaries that cover a wide variety of topics, such as benefit determination, wage calculation, child support enforcement and time requirements to help claims professionals at all levels be more effective." --Maria Woehr
