21st Century Joins iPhone Fray
Wilmington, Del.-based 21st Century Insurance has released an iPhone application.
With the free app, 21st Century Insurance customers can view their current insurance bill and pay electronically via debit, credit or bank transfer; view policy information, including a copy of their ID card; and can report a claim and document claim details.
In addition, the app offers access to roadside assistance, via the 21st Century Security Advantage program; assistance with locating gas stations, hotels, stores and restaurants; safety tips, articles and videos; and a way to immediately contact 21st Century representatives via phone or e-mail.
"With the faster pace of life and focus on technology, there are more and more people using their iPhone to perform daily tasks," Bryan MacDonald, VP of e-business, says in a statement. "The new 21st Century iPhone app was created with today's 'on the go' person in mind." Farmers Insurace acquired 21st Century from AIG last year.
